Box Score The Owls made history on their road trip to Kentucky this weekend with their first win as a program. Owls won 16-3 against Spaulding.
"This win was a team effort and I'm proud of all the work they put in to get to this point. Every player contributed to the stat book and that is something to be proud of as a coach," said Head Coach Becky Stanford.
The Owls had a program high 16 goals and 8 assists with 7 different players contributing to the score. Dylan Edwards had a career and program high 8 points with 6 goals and 2 assists. Sophomore Stephanie Quiroa returned from an injury to score her first collegiate goals with 4 and 1 assist. Genesis Lopez also had a career high with 3 goals and 2 assists. Maddie Wetmore, Bel Cardin, and Tatum Fowler each added a goal. Taylor Smith, Wetmore, and Fowler added an assist.
