To Fans, Friends, and Families of Owls Athletics:
Greetings and welcome to the Warren Wilson College Compliance Office website! It is critical that both the institution and the individual do our part to learn and abide by the NCAA and college rules that impact everyone here at WWC. The goals of the Athletic Department compliance program are to:
- Educate key groups and stakeholders about relevant USCAA, EMAC and NCAA;
- Coordinates policies and procedures to effectively meet these regulations; and,
- Implements systems to monitor the effectiveness of these policies and procedures.
Thank you for caring about Warren Wilson College Athletics! Your assistance in preventing violations of the USCAA, EMAC and NCAA and institutional rules plays a vital role in supporting all of our programs. As we strive for continued excellence, we always seek the highest standard of ethical conduct.
Furthermore, NCAA rules dictate that Warren Wilson College is responsible for the actions of its coaches, administrators, staff, student-athletes, alumni, fans, and boosters. Even inadvertent violations can result in penalties for our student-athletes and the College. So please, ASK BEFORE YOU ACT.
