Warren Wilson College and the Athletic Department are committed to providing a workplace and educational environment, as well as other benefits, programs, and activities, that are free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. To ensure compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and regulations, and to affirm its commitment to promoting the goals of fairness and equity in all aspects of the educational program or activity, Warren Wilson College has developed internal policies and procedures that provide a prompt, fair, and impartial process for those involved in an allegation of discrimination or harassment on the basis of protected class status, and for allegations of retaliation. Warren Wilson College values and upholds the equal dignity of all members of its community and strives to balance the rights of the parties in the grievance process during what is often a difficult time for all those involved.

Report online using the reporting form at https://warrenwilsoncollege.formstack.com/forms/complaint_form. Anonymous reports are accepted, but they may require investigation to determine whether the parties involved can be identified. If identification is not possible, no further formal action can be taken, though measures intended to protect the community may still be enacted. Warren Wilson College strives to provide supportive measures to all Complainants; however, this may not be possible when an anonymous report does not identify the Complainant.
Because reporting carries no obligation to initiate a formal response—and because Warren Wilson College honors Complainant requests to dismiss complaints unless a compelling threat to health and/or safety exists—the Complainant remains largely in control and should not fear a loss of confidentiality by making a report that allows the College to discuss and/or provide supportive measures.
