The Owls faced a solid DII opponent on Saturday, falling to Shorter University 18-0. Shorter opened the first quarter with 5 goals and from there led the owls scoreless. The Owls defense faced 39 shots in the game. 

Carrigan Causby, Pam Moore, Maddie Wetmore, and Kiana Dandy led the defense in caused turnovers and ground balls.
