Lady Owls Send Seniors Out on Top

The Lady Owls hosted #7 ranked MACU on Senior Day and pulled out an impressive 60-46 victory. The Owls celebrated seniors, Tayzha Allen, Niya Black, Daymon Hinkelman, Sam Hoyle and Melanie Russell. The Owls started off the first half slow and went into halftime down 3 but would you use relentless defense to turn it around in the second half. The Lady Owls exploded offensively in the third pouring in 21 points. Defensively the Owls held MACU to just 7 points in the fourth quarter. Senior Daymon Hinkelman led the way with 17 points. This improved the Owls to 5-3 in EMAC conference play.
