Owls' Comeback Cut Short vs. Cavs

Box Score

The Lady Owls completed a back to back home weekend with a 52-45 loss to local foe Montreat. Montreat started off the game hot and built a 17 point lead by halftime.  The Owls would respond with a great defensive effort in the second half limiting Montreat to just 14 points over the course of two quarters. However, even with that effort the Owls still struggled offensively and were 0-10 from downtown in the contest and couldn't overcome the large deficit.  Daymon Hinkelman led the Owls with 14 points and she was followed by Kana Parker who had 10. "We missed way too many opportunities at the rim today, it is hard to win a basketball game shooting below 30% from the field." Said Coach Davis on the game. The Owls will return to action on November 28th when they travel to take on Greensboro College.
