Asheville, NC - The Owls came through victorious against Mid-Atlantic Christian 51-34, bringing their record to 1-1.
The Owls dominated this game after a slow start as they kicked into gear and went on a massive run. They had control of the game from the 10 minute mark of the first half, and easily kept their momentum in the second. The score at half was 30-16.
The Owls were led by Renee Scherer who had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist. Suzie Ashford added 8 points off the bench with 4 rebounds and 3 assists, and Dani Henderson led the team in rebounding with 8.
The Lady Fighting Owls next game will be away against Georgia Northwestern, on the November 14th at 5:00 pm.
