SWANNANOA, N.C. — Warren Wilson delivered a dominant performance under the lights on Blackout Night, defeating Brevard 85–73 on Friday at DeVries Athletic Gymnasium. In a charged home atmosphere, sophomore guard
Tajh Williams erupted for 24 points to earn Game MVP honors, leading the Owls to their first win of the season.
The Owls' offense was electric from start to finish, shooting 63.9% from the field and 46.2% from three, producing one of the most efficient performances in recent program history. Warren Wilson scored 32 points in the paint and controlled pace throughout, never allowing Brevard to seize momentum for more than a possession or two.
Williams was the engine. He shot 8-of-14 from the floor, knocked down four threes, and added seven rebounds, four assists, and a block — a complete two-way effort that set the tone early.
Junior guard
Jordan Moore added 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting and grabbed 8 rebounds, providing steady scoring whenever Brevard tried to close the gap.
Asheton Glass contributed 6 points, 5 assists, and strong perimeter defense, while Nasir Cotton and
Archie Evans combined for interior presence, rebounding, and physicality that helped the Owls control the paint.
Warren Wilson led 32–28 at halftime before pulling away in the second half with improved spacing and ball movement. Eight Owls scored, and the bench produced 21 points, giving WWC consistent contributions across the roster.
