Box Score ELIZABETH CITY, NC - The Warren Wilson College men's basketball team dropped an 89–66 decision to Mid-Atlantic Christian University on November 21.
Mid-Atlantic Christian built an early lead, taking a 40–23 advantage into halftime. Warren Wilson responded with a stronger offensive showing in the second half, scoring 43 points after the break, but was unable to close the gap as the Mustangs continued to control the pace.
Archie Evans led the Owls with 15 points on an efficient 6-of-7 shooting performance, including a pair of three-pointers. Tajh Williams followed with 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds, while Daniel Smith and Asheton Glass each added eight points off the bench.
Warren Wilson shot 41.7 percent from the field for the game and generated 27 points from its bench. The Owls also forced turnovers that led to 17 points, but Mid-Atlantic Christian capitalized on second-chance opportunities and finished with five players scoring eight or more points.
The Owls wrap up the contest and turn their focus to the next stretch of play.
