LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA - The Warren Wilson College men's basketball team dropped a 96–69 road decision to Covenant College on Friday evening at the Barnes Physical Education Center in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. The game was
rescheduled from Saturday to Friday due to a winter storm impacting the region.
Covenant built an early advantage behind a strong first half, taking a 48–30 lead into the break. The Owls showed improved offensive rhythm in the second half, scoring 39 points after halftime, but were unable to cut into the deficit as the Scots maintained control throughout the contest.
Asheton Glass led Warren Wilson with 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting, providing a consistent presence in the paint. Braxton Crocker followed with 12 points, knocking down a pair of three-pointers and going 4-of-6 from the free-throw line. Tajh Williams added eight points and six rebounds, while Daniel Smith contributed nine points, five rebounds, and three assists off the bench.
The Owls finished with 39 bench points and scored 36 points in the paint, continuing to generate production from multiple contributors. Warren Wilson also converted 16-of-23 attempts from the free-throw line.
