SWANNANOA, NC - The Warren Wilson College men's basketball team earned an 85–67 victory over Pensacola Christian on Friday afternoon at DeVries Athletic Gymnasium, controlling the game from start to finish behind a strong first-half performance.
The Owls came out sharp offensively, building an early advantage and taking a 50–31 lead into halftime. Warren Wilson shot over 55 percent from the field in the opening half and set the tone defensively, forcing turnovers that led to transition opportunities and points in the paint.
Braxton Crocker led all scorers with 26 points, knocking down six three-pointers and adding six rebounds. Tajh Williams followed with 18 points while contributing across the stat sheet, and Khanye Bland provided a spark off the bench with 21 points on efficient shooting. The Owls finished with four players scoring in double figures.
Warren Wilson continued to apply pressure in the second half, maintaining its lead while outscoring Pensacola Christian 35–36 after the break. The Owls capitalized on turnovers throughout the game, finishing with 36 points off turnovers and 27 bench points.
With the win, Warren Wilson improves to 4–9 on the season as the team continues its non-conference slate.
