Second Half Drought Leads to Owls loss at MACU

Box Score
The Owls traveled another 6 plus hours to conference foe Mid Atlantic Christian University. The Owls held the lead for the majority of the first half before ending the half with a 27-31 deficit. The 2nd half saw the Owls down three before a nearly 8-minute drought which saw MACU go on a 23-3 run. The final score was 58-77. Frensham O'Darius Cade and Junior Brent Davis led the way with 22 and 19 points, while senior Trey Brown pulled down 11 rebounds. "Our guys are working hard and are improving every day. That showed today in the first half, we are playing a different style than the first semester due to losing players to injuries and eligibility. So we are still learning our style and the goal is to be ready to make the run at the EMAC Tournament Title," Coach Boone had to say about his team.
