The Owls' traveled to Brevard College on Thursday for the inaugural "Battle of the Blue Ridge" rivalry matchup at Ives-Lemel Family Field. 

The Owls fell behind quick in the 1st, trailing 4-1. The owls could not keep up as Brevard's depth was just too much. The Owls never quit and were able to put up another goal in the 2nd half by crashing the missed opportunities and scoring on a rebound.  

The Owls fall to 0-8 on the year. Saiquan Bell continues to lead the way for the Owls with one goal, while Will Cox got his first goal on the season in the loss. Collin Stanford had another strong night between the pipes recording 21 saves.

With the victory, Brevard secured the Blue Ridge Trophy, which will be passed between the two teams each season.
