Box Score SWANNANOA, NC - On February 22, 2025, the Warren Wilson College Owls faced the Brevard College Tornados at the Hank Steinbrecher Sports Complex in Swannanoa, North Carolina in The Battle of the Blue Ridge. Despite a valiant effort, the Owls were narrowly defeated with a final score of 12-10 leaving The Tornados to retain the Blue Ridge Trophy.

The Owls started strong, leading 2-1 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter saw both teams intensify their offenses, each adding four goals, bringing the halftime score to 6-5 in favor of Warren Wilson. In the third quarter, Brevard outscored the Owls 3-1, shifting the lead to 8-7. The final quarter was fiercely contested, with both teams exchanging goals, but Brevard managed to maintain their advantage, concluding the game at 12-10.

Freshman midfielder, Jayshawn Bruce lead the Owls with four goals and 2 assists, showcasing his offensive prowess. Redshirt freshman attacker Ethan Damm contributed three goals and one assist, while senior attacker Jude Searles added two, and freshman attacker Conor Bril scored one. On the defensive end, the Owls displayed resilience, but Brevard's Michael Peters proved challenging, leading all scorers with five goals.
