CLEMSON, SC - The team traveled down to Central, SC just outside of Clemson, SC to compete in a fun weekend of racing. With downtown Central closed off, the team took to the streets competing in the Criterium race. A long course meant fields of riders split apart requiring big efforts to stay competitive. The venue provided a great atmosphere, with local shops, cafes and trains rolling through. After the race the team enjoyed a visit to the Central Train Museum. With a long lull between categories the team traveled 10 minutes back to their Airbnb to rest up for the Time Trial. The course was a hilly 7 mile out and back. The team competed well and put in solid efforts
Sunday's race was the Road Race, a 12 mile circuit through the short punchy hills of South Carolina. The racing provided a great format for the Warren Wilson riders to experiment with tactics and practice different racing techniques. Next weekend is the last race of the season in Anniston, AL for the Sunny King Criterium.
