#15 Men's Basketball Lose Lead, Lose Game

Box Score

Harrodsburg, KY - The men's basketball team traveled to Campbellsville Harrodsburg to avenge a loss earlier this season at the hands of the Tigers. In that loss, the Owls squandered a 16 point lead and eventually fell 92-89. This meeting was almost identical. The Owls were playing without junior forward Jaquann Lockhart, due to a concussion, but that didn't stop the Owls from building a 15 point lead going into the half.

In the second half the Owls went cold, only scoring 29 points, en route to an 85-78 loss to the Tigers. The Owls were outscored 51-29 in the second half, after outscoring the Tigers 49-34 in the first half.

"We did what we were capable of in the first half, and then we did the opposite in the second half. It's been that kind of year for us, so we will take it, learn from it and get better," stated head coach Anthony Barringer.

The Owls will look to get back in the winning column, as they host EMAC foe Mid-Atlantic Christian University. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 P.M.
