The Warren Wilson women's soccer team faced a tough opponent today on the road against West Virginia Tech. The Owls were able to hold the Golden Bears to a 0-0 game at half time with good organized defending. Shortly into the second half, WVU Tech struck the back of the net with a deep free kick on goal by Alyssa Capon. The Golden Bears would strike again in the 64th minute when Tristen Kilman scored on an assist from Tyler Graves. The two goal lead would remain even though the Owls pressed forward and had a few chances to score in the second half.

The Owls were out-shot 23-5 and senior goalkeeper Clare Williams made 11 saves on the match.

The Owls will return to play at home this Friday, September 25th as they take on Johnson & Wales Charlotte at 4pm.
