Owls lose on a late Golden Bears goal.

WVU Tech got on the board early in the match in the 4th minute when Creshana Jones was able to get past the Wilson defense and beat Clare Williams to make it 1-0.

The game would remain in the Golden Bears' favor until the 65th minute. Bianca Canizio was fouled in the box which led to an Owls penalty kick. The PK was converted by Kendra Orians to level the match at 1-1.

The physical match appeared heading for extra time until the 78th minute when Tyler Graves got what would prove to be the game winning goal, sending the Owls to their second straight defeat.

The Golden Bears outshot Warren Wilson 13-4 in the game.

The Owls will have a quick turnaround, playing Tuesday afternoon against Patrick Henry at 3:00.
