Asheville, NC - Warren Wilson Men's Soccer played Ferrum College this afternoon and fell 4-3.

This brings the Fighting Owls to a 1-7 overall record and the Panthers to 5-4.

The Owls went into the half down 3-0 but with great tenacity fought to get back into the game. In the second half they put three goals away to bring life back into the game but it was too little too late.

The first half started in favor of Ferrum College. Aaron Gustine put the first goal away at 17:57 to break the dead lock score. Their next goal was only a few minutes later as Cristian Turcios found the back of the net off of a remarkable free kick from mid field. In the second half the Owls were determined to get back into the match pushing up and making some attacking plays. Jackson Grimm hit the target off of an incredible throw into the box from Enrique Timas. But the Owls momentum would be cut short as just one minute later Aaron Gustine chipped the keeper to finish his hat-trick and move the score to 4-1.
