Owls Tested on the Road at Piedmont

SWANNANOA, NC - The Warren Wilson College men's basketball team faced a tough road challenge on Tuesday night, falling 120–96 to Piedmont University inside Cave Arena in Demorest, Georgia.

Warren Wilson opened the game with solid offensive rhythm, shooting 50 percent from the field in the first half and heading into the break trailing 57–44. Piedmont maintained its efficiency throughout the night and pulled away in the second half behind consistent shooting and transition scoring.

Tajh Williams led the Owls with 29 points, shooting 10-of-13 from the field and adding seven free throws. Asheton Glass provided a strong spark off the bench with 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting, while Isaac Allen finished with 13 points.

Braxton Crocker added 12 points, and Nasir Cotton contributed seven points and five assists. As a team, Warren Wilson shot 51.5 percent from the field, scored 52 points in the paint, and went 20-of-25 from the free-throw line.

Piedmont shot 63.9 percent from the field and connected on 14 three-pointers, using its offensive efficiency to create separation in the second half.
