RALEIGH, N.C. — The Warren Wilson College men's basketball team fell 78–61 to William Peace University on December 7 at the Hermann Athletic Center.
William Peace built an early advantage and took a 37–23 lead into halftime. Warren Wilson showed improved efficiency after the break, scoring 38 points in the second half, but the Pacers maintained control throughout the final 20 minutes.
Jordan Moore led the Owls with a game-high 28 points, shooting 7-for-16 from the field and knocking down three three-pointers while going 11-for-14 at the free-throw line. Tajh Williams added 13 points and six rebounds, and Daniel Smith finished with eight points.
Warren Wilson shot 40.7 percent from the field in the second half and received 32 points from the bench. The Owls worked to generate offense inside but were limited to five second-chance points in the contest.
William Peace was led by Elijah Green with 16 points, while Elijah Cathcart added 15 points on five three-pointers. The Pacers finished with 23 second-chance points and shot 32.4 percent from beyond the arc.
