Warren Wilson Earns Road Win at Greensboro, 99–92

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Warren Wilson College women's basketball team earned a hard-fought 99–92 road victory over Greensboro College on December 18 at Hanes Gymnasium, closing the game with a strong fourth-quarter surge to secure the win.

The contest featured tight margins throughout, with the teams tied 28–28 after the first quarter and Greensboro holding a narrow 74–71 advantage heading into the final period. Warren Wilson responded with its best stretch of the night in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Pride 28–18 to pull away down the stretch.

Ori Galloway led all scorers with 29 points while adding nine assists, eight rebounds, and five steals. Briah Clarke followed with 23 points and 11 rebounds, providing a steady presence inside. Moosie Lewis added 15 points and nine rebounds off the bench, contributing on both ends of the floor during key stretches.

Warren Wilson finished the game shooting 48.2 percent from the field and scored 56 points in the paint. The Owls also pushed the tempo effectively, tallying 41 fast-break points and converting 28 points off Greensboro turnovers.

Jayda Hairston led Greensboro with 18 points, while Kensly Stewart added 16. The Pride struggled to find rhythm late, shooting just 23.3 percent in the fourth quarter as Warren Wilson maintained control in the closing minutes.

The Owls will look to build on the performance as they continue their non-conference schedule.
