BEREA, KY. — The Warren Wilson College men's basketball team fell 79–62 to Berea College on November 22 inside the Seabury Center.
Berea built an early advantage, taking a 40–19 lead into halftime. Warren Wilson responded with a stronger second half, scoring 43 points after the break, but the early margin proved difficult to overcome.
Isaac Allen led the Owls with 14 points, adding three assists and three steals. Daniel Smith finished with 10 points and four assists, while José Maria Palacios and Tajh Williams each scored nine points. Alec Hilliard contributed nine points and five rebounds off the bench.
Warren Wilson shot 57.7 percent from the field in the second half and finished with 34 points in the paint. The Owls also received solid production from their bench, totaling 51 points from reserves.
Berea was led by Bryce Riley with 19 points, including five three-pointers. The Mountaineers shot 50.8 percent from the field and set the tone early with efficient perimeter shooting.
