Warren Wilson Women’s Basketball Dominates Regent University, 87-65

SWANNANOA, N.C. — The Warren Wilson Owls women's basketball team showcased resilience and teamwork, overcoming challenges to secure an 87-65 victory against Regent University on the road. With a balanced offensive attack and a critical third-quarter surge, the Owls set the tone for a promising season.

Dynamic Offensive Performance

Hailey Ripley led all scorers with 21 points, displaying efficiency by shooting 8-of-9 from the field and draining five three-pointers. Jordan McGhee followed with 17 points, adding key contributions on both ends of the court. Ellie Martin delivered 16 points and five rebounds, while Moosie Lewis provided 12 points off the bench, including two timely three-pointers.

The Owls' offense found its rhythm early, scoring 21 points in the first quarter, and maintained their pace throughout the game. They shot 45.7% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range, proving difficult for Regent's defense to contain.

Third Quarter Breakthrough
