PIKEVILLE,KY - The Owls on the road once again traveled to Pikeville, Kentucky for a tri-match. The Owls came out strong in their first game against Virginia University of Lynchburg, getting their first sweep. Winning 25-17, 25-20, and 26-24. 

The next match was against University of Pikeville. The Owls started off strong once again winning the first set 25-16. The Owls couldn't hold the intensity and lost the last three sets 10-25, 13-25, and 14-25.

Final match was against Salem University where the Owls also fell short. Losing 9-25, 19,25, and 18-25.

"Super proud of the team today. They truly believed they could win and they did! It was fun to see everyone get a chance to help with that win!" said head coach Kristy Kamer. 

The Owls next game is a rematch against Carolina University on Tuesday, September 19th. Make sure you come out and support these Owls!
