SWANNANOA, NC - The Owls flew off to an 11-2 start in Saturday afternoon's game. Great team shooting and stout team defense had the Owls in control throughout the first half. Heading into the break, the Owls were up 43-30.
The second half was a different story as the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels methodically worked their way back into the game, ultimately talking a lead late in the second half.
After relinquishing the lead, numerous Owls made big buckets and big plays.
Nasir Cotton had tough finishes to stop the bleeding.
Marcus Andrews knocked in a three to tie the game in the final minutes.
Daishaun Handy made a couple midrange baskets to help the Owls regain the lead.Â

The Owls are back in action Tuesday night, looking to start a winning streak at North Greenville.
