BREVARD, NC - The Lady Owls traveled to local foe, Brevard College, and fell to the tornados 85-69. The Owls kept it close and went into halftime only down 7 after outscoring the Tornados in the second quarter. However, Brevard came out in the third quarter firing on all cylinders and the Owls found themselves down 22 points heading into the fourth quarter. The Owls would respond with a solid fourth quarter outscoring the tornados by 6 but it wasn't enough to close the gap. For the first time all season the Owls had four players in double figures.
Weronika Swojak led the way with another double-double, pouring 19 points in and 14 rebounds.
Moosie Lewis followed her with 18.
Zoey Gore had 12 and
Carmen Echols had 11.
