Box Score SWANNANOA, N.C. – Warren Wilson men's soccer fell to Methodist Thursday night at the Hank Steinbrecher Family Athletic Complex. The Monarchs scored two first half goals to secure the victory.
The Owls, however, enjoyed a very good second half and created chances but were unable to capitalize after halving the Monarchs' lead early in the second stanza.
Leo Borges scored the Owls' lone goal, his first of the season, in the 56th minute. His shot from the top of the right side of the box found the far post ball.
Methodist's Hudson Zeisman had the game-winning goal in the 20th minute, burying a pass from Christopher Shoffler. Zeisman also produced the game's first goal in the seventh minute.
