Columbia, SC - The men's soccer team lost on the road today against a strong Columbia International team.
This brings Warren Wilson to an overall record of 1-6 and CIU to an overall record of 5-1.
The rams started early when Daniel Mallard found the back of the net at the 2:24 minute mark. Mallard scored again in the 18th minute putting the rams up 2-0. In the very next minute Mitchell Roberts received an assist from Daniel Miele scoring the 3rd goal. CIU would not let up as they scored one more goal before the half ended when Miele assisted Alex Hackett for a score of 4-0.
The second half held less action but the Rams would add one more goal when Daniel Miele scored at the 54:26 mark. The final score was 5-0.
The Warren Wilson men's soccer team is at home on September 26th at 4:00pm against Ferrum College.
