LaGrange, GA - LaGrange College defeats Warren Wilson for their first win of the 2013 season.
The Panthers beat the Fighting Owls 4-0, bringing the Fighting Owls to a 1-3 overall record and the Panthers to 1-1.
The Panthers managed to have a 7-2 shots on goal advantage. Adrian Vakerics scored first in the 19th minute. Melvin Bass scored in the 21:55 minute from an assist by Toby Haney giving the Panthers a 2-0 lead. Kevin Folsom scored off a penalty to close out the first half 3-0. Raymond Haas would assist Melvin Bass to get his second goal in the 71st minute with a final score of 4-0.
Graham Wilkinson led the Fighting Owls with 4 shots. He would own the only 2 shots on goal for the Fighting Owls during the contest.
Warren Wilson (1-3), will be on the road again as they travel to Powell, TN to face Crown College on September 10th at 4:00pm.
