SWANNANOA, NC - In a challenging home opener, Warren Wilson Men's Lacrosse faced a formidable opponent in Bethany College, resulting in a 22-2 defeat. Despite the scoreline, there were notable performances from the Owls.
For Warren Wilson, goalkeeper Anthony Varela showcased his talent with 15 impressive saves, keeping the team in contention throughout the match. Additionally, Jude Searles and Cameron Phillips both contributed a goal.
The Owls will stay at home for the next few games with Wilmington College, Randolph and Mount St. Joseph.
