Owls Struggle In Tri-Match on the Road

RIO GRANDE, OH - The Warren Wilson Owls endured a challenging day of volleyball as they competed in a tri-match against formidable opponents, Cumberland University and the University of Rio Grande. Despite their best efforts, the Owls were unable to secure a victory, falling to both teams in straight sets.

In their first match of the day, the Owls faced off against Cumberland University in a highly anticipated showdown. From the onset, Cumberland University showcased their dominance on the court with an impressive display of skill and strategy. The Owls struggled to keep pace with their opponents, ultimately succumbing to a 0-3 defeat with set scores of 10-25, 18-25, and 17-25.

Following the tough loss to Cumberland University, the Owls found themselves up against another formidable opponent, the University of Rio Grande. Despite their best efforts to regroup and bounce back, the Owls faced similar challenges against the University of Rio Grande. Once again, the opposing team demonstrated their strength and prowess, ultimately securing a 0-3 victory over the Owls with set scores of 17-25, 17-25, and 19-25.
