DANVILLE, VA - In their first game in the new season, the Owls fell to Averett University 29 to 1. New Freshman Goalkeeper,
Anthony Varela, led the way for the owls racking up 19 saves, and
Jude Searles tallied the lone goal, keeping the owls from getting shut out. The owls will travel to Fayetteville, NC to play Methodist Saturday March 2nd to play in their next game.
