SWANNANOA, NC — The Warren Wilson College women's basketball team faced a tough challenge at home, falling to the Berry College Vikings, 81-33, on December 3, 2024. Despite the loss, the Owls showed determination and effort throughout the game.
The game began with Berry College taking an early lead, ending the first quarter ahead 22-8. The Vikings continued to dominate in the second quarter, extending their lead to 44-15 by halftime. The Owls struggled to find their rhythm against Berry's strong defense and efficient offense.

- Moosie Lewis led the Owls with 8 points and 6 rebounds, showcasing her resilience and effort on both ends of the court.
- Ellie Martin contributed 7 points and 6 rebounds, providing a steady presence for the team.

Berry College's balanced attack and solid defense proved too much for the Owls. The Vikings' standout performances included Sylvia Kahoro, who scored 11 points, and Katelyn St. Clair, who added 9 points and 5 rebounds.
Despite the loss, the Owls demonstrated their fighting spirit, particularly in their rebounding efforts, grabbing a total of 32 rebounds. Turnovers, however, were a significant issue, with Berry College capitalizing on 31 turnovers to score 29 points.
