SWANNANOA, NC - The Owls came out strong against a tough Bluefield team taking the first set 25-22. The Owls could not punch through to the end losing the next three sets 17-25, 22-25, and 15-25.
"I can't say good enough things about this team today. We set some goals as a team and we accomplished a couple of them. Taking the first set was a huge win for us. We played extremely well. We just couldn't keep the momentum when we had it. That will come in time ." said head coach Kristy Kamer.

The Owls next game is a rematch against Bob Jones as they travel to Greenville, South Carolina on October, 5th.
