Owls Fall To Bob Jones

SWANNANOA,NC - The Owls were once again back at home to take on the Bruins of Bob Jones University. The sets remained close but the Owls fell to the Bruins in all three sets 18-25, 18-25, and 20-25. 

"We played so well tonight.  We can't hang our heads at all.  We came out ready to play and we did.Bob Jones is a good team and we battled with them with whole game." said head coach Kristy Kamer.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • KJ Helinsky had a season high of 18 kills, 4 aces, and 14 digs earning another double-double.
  • Vera Pandolfo tallied 26 assists along with 4 blocks.

The Owls are looking forward to a big weekend as they travel to Bluefield, VA to take on the Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan and the Rams of Bluefield University. Games are September 23rd at 1pm and 3pm.
