Winston-Salem, NC - The Owls were on the road once again to take on the Carolina Bruins Tuesday, September 12th.
The Owls once again came up just short, but with some close sets scores. Losing set one 18-25, set two 23-25, and set three 21-25.
"We never gave up. We fought point for point. I couldn't be prouder of the way we played on the road." said head coach Kristy Kamer. The effort was definitely present in these sets.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior transfer KJ Helinsky, led the Owls with a season high of 15 kills, along with 4 aces and 2 solo blocks.
- Freshman setter Vera Pandolfo, led the team in total assists earning 21 assists along with 9 digs and 1 ace.
- Freshman Lillian DeMeglio led on digs tallying up to 19.
The Owls head to Charlotte, NC on Thursday, September 14th to take on Johnson & Wales. The Warren Wilson volleyball team is hopeful that they can use this game to pull out their first program history win!
