Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The Warren Wilson Owls had a rough start Saturday against Methodist University. In the rematch, it was a close game starting with no one being able to make a basket. Warren Wilson was down by 22 points during the first half. After a timeout, Methodist came out in a full-court press. The pressure got to Warren Wilson and it led to a big run for Methodist early in the game. Warren Wilson was able to cut the lead to 15 going into half time ending on a 6-0 run.
To start the second half, the Owls couldn't seem to close the gap, only being able to get the score within 12. Both teams trading baskets early in the second half prevented the Owls from making a comeback. Turnovers throughout the game halted momentum for the Owls and later led to Methodist securing a 75-54 win.
Despite the outcome, a couple of Owls had individual standout performances.
Yoshi Kendrick ended the game with 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Aaron Cuthbertson dropped a career-high 24 points off the bench and provided energy during the Owl's run to try to cut the lead.
