The Owls traveled down the road to face Brevard College for the second time this season. It was a chilly, 6pm kickoff on Monday, October 16th.
The Owls and Tornadoes were tied 0-0 at half-time after several great saves by Warren Wilson goalkeeper
Callie Aerni. The Owls boasted an impressive first half with outstanding defensive performances from senior captain
Ivy Fitzsimmons and midfielder
Lizzie Potter. The Owls were excited to welcome back defender, Mady Hendrie, to the field after a year-long ACL recovery.
The Tornados broke the nil, nil tie with a direct header goal off an attacking corner kick. That turned the tides for the game and Brevard College went on to score 3 more goals, including a penalty kick.
The Owls return to the road this Friday, October 20th for a game against Piedmont University at 6pm.
