Lady Owls Rout Apprentice and EMAC Play

The Lady Owls returned home and to EMAC conference play, taking on the Apprentice school.  The Owls won in decisive fashion 74-40.  The Lady Owls started off slow in the first quarter but built a lead in the second quarter and went into halftime up 9.  The Owls held the Apprentice school to just 2pointsin the second quarter. Defensively, the Owls finished the game with 17 steals. The Owls also found their stride offensively, dishing out 16 assists and knocking down season high 10 three pointers.  Catherine Causby led the Owls with 16 points.  She was followed by Kana Parker, who had 15 and Jenna Onderko who had  9 points. "If we can keep this type of offensive production it could be a very fun and interesting end to our season and heading into the conference tournament," said Coach Martin.
