Box Score CARY, N.C. – The Warren Wilson College Men's Soccer was unable to follow up on a strong first half effort, as William Peace scored 4 goals in the second half to win over the Owls Saturday afternoon, 5-0.
William Peace scored three goals in the final 15 minutes on a warm day at WakeMed Soccer Park.
"Games are 90 minutes long and we were unable to match William Peace for the full 90. We showed some good moments tonight but ultimately our lack of depth for today's match was impactful," said WWC Head Coach Mathes Mennell, "Having only 14 players available for selection and playing our third game of the week really showed today, especially in the last 15 minutes. That being said, the boys had some really nice moments, and we will learn from this experience."
