The Owls had a tough week of competition on the road. The Owls took on Piedmont University on October 4th at 7pm in Demorest, GA. The Owls had a good measure of the ball and had a couple of opportunities in the game. Piedmont University scored a pair of goals in the first half and a pair in the second half. Goalkeepers
Pamela Moore (1st half) and
Carrigan Causby (2nd half) had several saves each. The game finished with the Owls losing 4-0.
Next, the Owls traveled down the road to Brevard College for a 7pm kick-off on October 7th. The rain poured the entire game and both teams competed hard amid challenging conditions. Brevard scored two goals in the first half and two goals in the second half, beating the Owls 4-0.
The Owls take a week off for Fall Break and return to their home pitch on Monday, October 18th to face Brevard College at 4:30pm.
