Box Score PINEVILLE, N.C. – Warren Wilson men's soccer fell to JWU Charlotte 8-0 Wednesday night afternoon in an injury plagued game which saw the Owls finish with 9 players on the field.
Aedan Lambert led the Owls with 3 shots.
Benjamin Schmid, Will Feehan, Paddington Mbumbgwa, Nate Senna, Aedan Lambert, Solomon Love, and Alister Gardner all turned in 90 minute performances. Alister Gardner was forced in playing 86 minutes in goal after Parker Davis had to leave the match due to injury.
"A very strange night to be sure," said Owls Head Coach Mathes Mennell, "I have never been part of a match like this. That being said, our team's sportsmanship and class was exemplary. I could not be prouder of a group of players."
