Owls Fall in Close Contests

Owls wrap up home games with an exciting match-up with Bob Jones University. Owls hosted the Bob Jones Bruins on Tuesday, October 26th for the final home game of the season. The Bruins scored a pair of goals in the first half. The Owls fought back in the second half with a penalty kick goal from Freshman forward, Kyra Collins. Another late goal was scored from Freshman forward, Kai Robinson, on a remarkable shot from 35 yards out. The Bruins tallied another goal off a misclearnace and own-goal against the Owls to finish the game 3-2.

Owls traveled to Winston-Salem on Saturday, October 23rd, to take on Carolina University. It was an even pairing of teams with shared possession and Owls tallying 13 shots on goal. Owls hit the crossbar twice off a cross and header. Carolina University scored a pair of goals in the first half and a third at the beginning of the second half. 
 
Owls travel to Johnson and Wales on Friday, October 29th and again to Emory & Henry on October 31st to finish out the 2021 fall season.
