Box Score EMORY, VA. – The Warren Wilson College Men's Soccer dropped a 1-0 decision to Emory & Henry College 1-0 on a rainy Thursday night at Fred Selfe Stadium.
The Wasps scored the game's only goal in the 66th minute as Ryan Boyette was able to find the net on a header after a Nino Egli cross.
"We turned in our best 90 minute performance of the season tonight. We played with attacking intent and created some really nice chances," said WWC Head Coach Mathes Mennell, "their keeper came up with three really good saves in the second half. Obviously, we are disappointed that we did not get a result but I could not be prouder of our effort and the way we played."
