Box Score ADVANCE, N.C. – The Warren Wilson College Men's Soccer had a tough trip to Advance, NC as Carolina University scored 4 goals in each half to win over the Owls Monday night, 8-1.
The Bruins opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through Nathan Rue. The Owls answered 12 seconds later as Alister Gardner played in Avery Matthews who dribbled a defender and tucked away his first goal of his Warren Wilson career.
The Bruins then scored goals in the 24th, 26th, and 27th minutes to make the scoreline 4-1 at the break. The Bruins then added goals in the 48th, 51st, 60th, and 72nd minutes to complete the 8-1 win.
