Lady Owls Downed by Bluefield State

Box Score

The Lady Owl returned home for the first time in 2020 and hosted NCAA D2 opponent Bluefield State.  The Owls' offensive struggles would continue as they fell 81-40.  The Owls struggled to get anything going offensively and only scored 6pts in the opening quarter.  They would never be able to overcome the initial deficit they found themselves in early.  Asia Caldwell led the Owls with 15pts and she was followed by Kalie Mayo who had 14.  "We started off slow and never could get anything going. We didn't shoot well from the field or the foul line and that can make for a long night.  We will keep working and improving. I am proud that the girls fought until the end," Coach Davis said after the game.
