Newport News, VA - The men's basketball team traveled to Newport News, VA to take on The Apprentice School in the first round of the EMAC Conference Tournament. The Owls fought hard but were knocked out of the tournament with a 95-81 defeat. 

"We played a really good first half and started to hit our stride, but its impossible to win games when you give up 18 offensive rebounds. They scored at least 26 points off of those, and that is the tale of the game."

Junior Trey Brown led the Owls with 16 points. Junior Jaquann Lockhart finished the game with a double-double, tallying 15 points and 12 rebounds.

The Owls finish the season 12-18.
