Virginia Beach, VA - The Lady Owls added to their win streak, making it three in a row with a win over Regent University 80-57.
The Lady Owls used their depth and defensive pressure to secure the win.
This is our second game in a row and it is really beneficial to have such quality depth. We haven't had to play anyone over 20 minutes in either game which will be huge as we go into Apprentice school tomorrow for a big match up. This was a great team win. Everyone contributed and we were able to manage minutes and still extend the lead. It's fun to watch this team when they are in stride," exclaimed head coach Robin Martin.
Kalie Mayo exploded offensively, knocking down 6 threes to lead the Owls with 23 points. Danaisa Dumas followed with 13, KJ Mckoy finished with 12, and Danielle Hinkelman finished with 9.
