Box Score Swannanoa, N.C. - The Owls of Warren Wilson College hosted the Panthers of La Grange College. The Panthers got off to a fast start, and scored early on a counter attack goal. The Owls had a couple of good moments, stringing passes together, but for the majority of the first half, the panthers dominated the game, going into halftime ahead 3-0.
The second half saw the Owls find a handful of good chances, only to come up short. Levi Jackson played well in the midfield, helping the Owls find their best moments of possession and creation, along with great efforts from Cayce Morrison, and Evan Gammons.
Yaell Maldonado-Figeuroa tallied 20 saves.
Despite a better half, the Owls conceded 3 more goals, to end the game with a final score of Panthers 6, Owls 0.
The Owls host Toccoa Falls College Wednesday, September 26th. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30.
